Bouncer Sports Centre are glad to announce that we are now online. In order to keep our customers up to date, we will be updating this page with the latest news as it happens.

5th August 2009

Our National Masters teams have just returned from Cairns after an action packed carnival. Unfortunately our Bouncer Representatives in the Over 35's (Gavin Taylor, Mark Haddrill, Vaughn Leonard and Shane Lynn) didn't have the most successful carnival. Our Ladies were strongly represented in the Over 30's by Di Brown, Sheila Tate, Lyn Hall, Sarah Conrick, Gina Scarborough and Rondel Dancer all making the Prelim Final after beating Victoria. Well done girls and good luck for your next carnival in 2010.

5th August 2009

The Australian Open Cricket championships wrapped up in QLD recently with the WA Open Mens team winning the Grand Final, smashing QLD. Congratulations to Sam Barnes Siddall and Lee Irwin who represented Bouncer in this side. Lee Irwin was also returned to the Australian Mens Team to play in the World Cup in October.

Just a worthy note of Lee's Grand Final Partnership..... 70 in a grand final against QLD is a huge effort - CONGRATULATIONS.

Australian Junior Championships Wrap Up 2009

Bouncer Sports Centre along with Indoor Sports (WA), hosted the Australian Junior Championships in the week of 3rd June to 8th June 2009. Teams from all over Australia came to Bouncer Sports to participate in the age groups of 14 & Under Boys, 16 & Under Boys, 18 & Under Boys and 18 & Under Girls.

There was exciting cricket played throughout the week, and congratulations to all teams for the way they conducted themselves on court.

All four WA teams made the finals, with the Girls and Under 14's crashing out in the Preliminary Finals, and the 16's and 18's Boys making their way to the Grand Finals.

Unfortunately the Under 18's didn't have the grand final they would have hoped for, losing to QLD.

Our Under 16's are National Champions beating New South Wales in a very entertaining game. Bouncer Representatives from this side were: Alistair Smith (Coach), Glenn Hollows (Manager), Christian Smith, Jack Rankin, Jack Daymond, Josh Hollows, Matt Meade and Josh Axcell. Congratulations to all of these boys, and in particular to Christian and Jack Rankin for making the Australian Team to play in the World Cup in October. Alistair Smith is the National Coach for this team.

Other achievements that were a highlight include Josh Smith (18's Boys) making the Australian Team and Duncan Taylor making the All Star Team (Under 14's).

On behalf of everyone here at Bouncer Sports Centre, congratulations once again on all your efforts.
